Job Description Job Description PURPOSE Victory is a growing Church with a Finance Department that has automated accounting processes to support the vision of Victory Church. We are looking for an accountant that can bring the technical skills needed to assist in all aspects of the month-end close. In addition, they will have the opportunity to be involved in accounting systems implementations conversions and other special projects to enhance efficiency and productivity as we continue to grow. RESPONSIBILTIIES Subledger Contributions input and reconciliation General ledger journal entry preparation Credit card expense reporting Monthly bank reconciliations Account Analysis and adjusting journal entries Weekly Management Report Fixed Assets and monthly depreciation entries Special projects as assigned COMPETENCIES Emotional & Spiritual Maturity, Open to growth and change, Courageous, Humble, Empowering, Connected, Kind, Aligns with the Victory Vision, Proactive, Excellent Communication skills, Discretion, Strong Ethics & Values, Policy Compliance SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 1-2 years’ experience CPA or CPA Track preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment Microsoft 365 Excel Sage Intacct Accounting Software Experience is a plus RAMP credit card and Bill Pay experience is a plus ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS An acceptance of, and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
