Job Description Job Description Are you a Mortgage Loan Processor with experience in the lender model, have a strong sense of urgency to close loans quickly, and a passion for helping others? If so, we are looking for you! As part of our top-producing team, you'll be responsible for handling all aspects of the "contract to close" phase of the loan process. Your strong eye for detail and exceptional customer service skills will be crucial in this position, as you will diligently gather information, field questions, and handle any last-minute changes so that mortgage applications race over the finish line. Candidates should have a strong ability to prioritize and multitask without being micro-managed to meet multiple deadlines and work well in a team environment. Compensation: Base salary starting at $60,000 with a bonus structure based on experience. Additional performance incentives are available. Full support team included (LOA operations) Compensation: $60,000 yearly base DOE plus bonus and incentives Responsibilities: Give detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department and obtain approval or denial. When issues arise, communicate with underwriters and borrowers to make sure conditions are satisfied Keep thorough documentation of the loan process in the system, from the origination of the loan to close Acquire the files necessary for property and loan documentation, including the following: verification of employment, evidence of insurance, payoffs, tax transcripts, credit supplements, condo questionnaires, subordination requests, and title work to assure a smooth loan process Oversee all loans coming through the pipeline to ensure the process is compliant and efficient Follow up on loan documentation ordered in a timely manner to ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met Own the file from contract to closing with accuracy, speed, and a service-first mindset Serve as the main point of contact for borrowers, Realtors, LO, and underwriters Manage a pipeline efficiently while meeting closing dates and compliance requirements Analyze and verify all income, assets, credit, insurance, VOEs, payoffs, tax transcripts, title, condos, and supporting documentation Update and maintain full transparency through the LOS Troubleshoot issues proactively and remove roadblocks before they become delays Ensure outstanding communication and a calm, positive borrower experience Work collaboratively with our team to deliver smooth, clean files with minimal conditions Qualifications: Know how to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as general ways to structure a loan 2 years of mortgage processing experience required, 5 years preferred Experience working in a lender’s environment and using Encompass LOS Solid understanding of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills, and is highly detail-oriented 5 years of mortgage processing experience Deep understanding of lender model operations Strong working knowledge of loan structuring, AUS, credit, income, and assets Experience as a Senior Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, or Underwriter required Proven ability to manage deadlines and multitask without sacrificing accuracy Calm, steady professional presence even during high-volume cycles Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proficient with Calyx Point or similar LOS software About Company Our mission is simple: serve with honesty, integrity, and competence.
