Job Description Job Description This role is located at our Knoxville, TN campus. Shift: Monday - Friday; 1:30pm - 10:00pm. This shift has a 10% shift differential added on top of the base pay as an incentive to work the 2nd shift schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the company's facilities and equipment to include general building care, recycling, snow removal, yard care, etc. Lite mechanical duties and general electrical knowledge preferred. Responsible for filter changes, scissor lift operation, floor scrubber operation, maintenance, and service. Responsibilities: General carpentry, painting, sheetrock, staining, adjusting doors, and setup/remodel of work areas. General facility upkeep to standards and assisting with our internal customers for event setup & teardown. Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the facilities. Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions. Complies with all paperwork that governs job duties, work orders & PM’s. May be assigned to different work areas as needed to support internal & external building facilities. Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor, or appropriate designee. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. Travel requirements estimated at 25%, including the need to travel internationally. Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10%; must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Assist in the maintenance and repair of building and mechanical systems Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 1-year facilities, ground crew experience Driver’s license required with clean driving record Ability to read, comprehend and interpret instructions and documents Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads, and supervisors across the organization. Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively manage time, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid, Cold and snow conditions. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to chemical odors; extreme cold; extreme heat in varied weather conditions.
