Description Parks & Recreation Equipment Operator – Parks
Seasonal Posting Expires: Open Until Filled Salary: $16.00 hourly
General Description and Classification Standards Operates basic
grounds keeping equipment to maintain attractive, safe and groomed
appearance. Supervision Received Works under direct supervision and
follows standardized procedures and written instructions to
accomplish assigned tasks. Responsibilities Essential Duties &
Responsibilities These are typical responsibilities for this

May perform other duties as assigned. Operates basic grounds
keeping equipment to maintain attractive, safe and groomed
appearance. Utilizes basic equipment such as lawnmowers, blowers,
weed trimmers, edger's. May operate small tractor. May assist in
other maintenance/construction projects as needed. Decision Making
Follows standardized procedures and written instructions to
accomplish assigned tasks. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities This is a
partial listing of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities
required to perform the job successfully. It is not an exhaustive
list. Basic knowledge of how to operate equipment such as
lawnmower, weed trimmer, edger, blower. Basic reading and writing
skills. Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations related
to equipment and tools in use. Qualifications Minimum
Qualifications: A valid Georgia's Driver's License is required at
the time of appointment. Driver's license must remain valid during
the tenure of this position. It is the policy of the City of
