Anticipated start date: TBD Supervisor: Middle & Upper School Division Head Position Status: This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month position. QUALIFICATIONS · Teaching experience in secondary education · Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Teach 5 sections of relevant class(es)in a seven-period schedule · Work directly with other grade level teachers as part of a professional team · Work vertically with the larger middle school team to collaborate and develop and enrich robust learning opportunities · Advise students as part of the Middle School Advisory Program · Attend scheduled committee and faculty meetings, both during and after-school · Contribute to the larger school community by working carpool duties, participating in curriculum night and open house. We also welcome employees with an interest coaching and sponsoring other extracurricular programs.
