Job Description Job Description Overview We’re hiring 5 dependable, detail-focused Heavy Industrial Component Technicians to break down and prepare large metal components used in transportation and logistics. This is physically demanding yet steady, hands-on work—lifting, disassembling, loading, and refurbishing heavy parts with industrial equipment to ensure they’re clean and ready for quality checks. You’ll start in the breakdown and component prep department but quickly cross-train across the shop, building valuable skills and earning a raise with every new skill you master. Shifts Morning Shift: 5am - 2pm Retention Bonus $1,000 retention bonus after 90 days (through Laborup) Day 1 Full Time Benefits (not temp) $17 - $19 / hr starting Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid time off, holidays, and personal leave Cross training raises & promotion structure Requirements Responsibilities Load and lift industrial bearing assemblies through a series of operations Disassemble used metal components with hydraulic presses and hand tools. Run parts through industrial cleaners to prep them for quality inspection. Monitor cleanliness and quality before passing components to inspection. Adjust and maintain equipment settings for washers Handle and move heavy components safely throughout the process. Perform routine maintenance on wash and blast equipment. Qualifications Basic Manufacturing or quality-focused experience preferred Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work. Familiarity with dimensional and visual quality inspection Comfortable using hand tools and rotary tools Strong verbal and written communication Follow written procedures and perform basic math Physical Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work. Frequent lifting, walking, reaching, pushing, and handling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Moderate twisting and bending.
