Job Description:

We are actively hiring an Executive Director in Training for two locations. This is a paid program with a one year commitment through a job training rotation program. At the completion of the program, candidate must be willing to relocate anywhere that there is an Executive Director Opening for our company. Candidate must have a bachelors degree at a minimum. This is an investment into you, so we are looking for someone who is making the same investment into us!

Pay for this position: $55,000 - 65,000 depending on experience. All travel expenses will be paid and we there will be additional benefits and compensation as part of the program.

    Position Summary

    • The Administrator-In-Training prepares for a future management role in Assisted and Independent Living Management under a seasoned Executive Director's guidance in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Century Park standards.
    • Reports to the Executive Director (ED) or the Regional Director of Operations .Working Conditions

      • Occasionally works 2nd and 3rd shift during rotations
      • Participates in community activities (e.g., civic, health care, faith-based)
      • Attends and participates in continuing education programs
      • Works in office setting
      • Subject to frequent interruptions
      • Involved with patients, associates, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances
      • Subject to hostile and emotionally upset patients, family members, etc.
      • Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays, and in other positions temporarily as necessary
      • Subject to falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc. during facility visits
      • Possible exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including exposure to the AIDS and hepatitis B viruses during facility visitsEducation, Experience, and Licensure/Certifications

        • Must have a bachelor's degree in business or health-care field from accredited college
        • Must have an active State license in good standing or be eligible to sit for exam after AIT training.
        • Must complete Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification prior to or during the nursing rotationSpecific Requirements

          • Must be willing and able to relocate based on company needs
          • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail
          • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
          • Must demonstrate effective people skills with patients, staff, families, vendors, community, etc.
          • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound operations
          • Must be able to effectively communicate policies, procedures, regulations, and reports to staff, patients, families, visitors, government agencies, community, etc.
          • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
          • Must be knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing administration functions in the post-acute care facility
          • Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the administration department
          • Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights and safety and sanitation
          • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
          • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
          • Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
          • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance trainingEssential Functions

            • Must be able to successfully complete rotations in each department
            • Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude
            • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients
            • Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
            • Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
            • Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
            • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
            • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
