Family-Owned Third-Party Logistics Company is looking for a motivated and results-driven General Manager! ResourceMFG is offering this Direct Hire position in the Cleveland TN area. Amazing benefits package included!The General Manager will direct and manage business activities and develop effective business strategies for a warehouse covering over a million square feet.The General Manager will be responsible for:

• Overseeing daily business operations.
• Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Training low-level supervisors and staff.
• Assisting in contract negotiations.
• Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients and external vendors.
• Oversees and reports daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
• Collaborating with other back-office team members to ensure business execution, reinforcing teamwork, and uphold company values. Collaborates with transitions and new hires as needed.
• Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed.
• Evaluating performance and productivity.
• Analyzing financial data and improving revenue.
• Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
• Generating reports and giving presentations.The General Manager should have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields. (Required)
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Warehouse Operations (Preferred)
  • Experience in 3PL Operations (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of DOT Transportation (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of various business functions, exceptional budgeting, finance skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to communicate with others effectively.
  • Highly organized, strong work ethic, and proactive nature.
