SanitationFLSA Status: SalariedSummaryJob DescriptionReporting to
the FLM/GM of Environmental Services/Sanitation, the Operations
Manager will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and
developing of the operation of the housekeeping/grounds/sanitation
department.Responsibilities Include:*Manage the Sanitation Program
within the facility to maintain the highest possible standards,
good public relations with all people concerns.*Manage the hiring,
evaluation and disciplining of housekeeping/grounds/sanitation
employees *Maintain/implement the Master Sanitation Schedule,
prepare work schedules, training schedules, inspection schedules,
ensure all documentation is maintained and the
Sanitation/Housekeeping OpX programs are implemented and maintained
in good order*Inspect cleanliness of facility, sanitation and
infection control, plant GMP s; take corrective action where
necessary and inform the client areas within the plant that need
maintenance/personnel practice improvement via regular
communication both informally and formally.*Provide supportive
leadership; a feeling of complete trust, security, and satisfaction
through demonstrations of competence and willingness to serve.*All
departmental spaces to include housekeeping/sanitation supply and
administrative spaces are to be kept in accordance with the ARAMARK
and the facility standards of cleanliness and appearance; all
equipment clean, labeled and kept in good repair.*Develop a stable,
competent work force and encourage personal growth of all personnel
through periodic evaluation and review.*Be able to fully complete
FLM responsibilities with the absence of the FLM
projecting financial results, run payrolls, complete both accounts
payable and accounts receivable functions, place supply orders, and
complete all hiring processes.Other Requirements*Associates or
Bachelors Degree preferred but can offset with practical
experience*Minimum (2 to 5) three to five years experience in
housekeeping and sanitation operations.*Will be skilled in
directing and motivating the staff.*Provide effective oral and
written communication skills, having the ability to work well with
others at all levels.*Full knowledge of pertinent regulatory
agencies and the policies, codes, standards, and regulations that
applies to their facility.*Must have detailed organization and
prioritizing skills with the ability to train; teach, show and
follow-up on all assignments, when necessary.*Able to define
problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions.*Can interpret and follow technical instructions and
complete assignments timely; showing a sense of urgency.We require
that all ARAMARK Business & Industry employees have a completed
background check and drug screen on file.
