Manages the Knitting Plan and the Denima/Nautilus Knitting Machine System, as well as the Finishing Schedule, for the Cleveland Facility.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others duties may be assigned.

* Collaborate with Operations Management team and Corporate Capacity Planning team in Short Term & Long-Term Capacity Plan & Requirements.

* Collaborate with Corporate Planning teams in executing their Weekly Knit & Finish Plan.

* Review Knit Plan to coincide with current schedule and future contracts.

* Review past due and current schedule, as well as future schedule requirements.

* Including any move-outs requiring rescheduling.

* Creation, distribution, and finalizing Weekly Knit Commitment Report.

* Implementation of Knit Plan into Knit Floor Plan.

* Analyze any Production Plan issues due to capacity restraints, yarn availability, or other scheduling constraints and then communicate back to the teams.

* Collaborate with Knitting Manager on Knit Plan & Floor Plan, on current schedule and future requirements to assure optimal machine utilization and minimum changes.

* Manage, and assist as needed, with execution of Knit Contracts:

* Knit Ticket printing and distribution on the floor.

* Knit machine & Nautilus sock count adjustments.

* Quality barrels returned and added back to machines.

* Collaborate with Finishing Manager to assure optimal utilization of Dyehouse equipment and Finishing equipment/personnel across all Brands/Customers/Programs within the weekly schedule.

* Oversee the Finishing Schedule process and release of Production Orders.

* Oversee Production Order posting and reconciliation.

* Oversee/Participate in managing the 360 Print Process & Production Orders.

* Oversee/Participate in managing the handling & finishing of Irregulars.

* New Dynamics/ERP System quickly learn and become very knowledgeable and efficient in the capabilities and use.

* Including being responsible for handling ticket and greige case labeling issues.

* Provide Operations Management team with accurate and timely information regarding operational capacity and delivery issues.

* Primary point of contact between Corporate Planning teams and Facility Planning team.

* Oversee/Participate in managing the tracking & expediting of Production Orders.

* Creation of Weekly Reports, including, but not limited to:

* Knitting Actuals

* Knitting Efficiencies & Waste

* Machine Changes

* Nautilus Efficiency

* Maintain Nautilus Server

* Uploading new Renfro Styles into SQL database.

* Server updates, troubleshooting, repairs/fixes, and client installations.

* Participate in determining and implementing strategic goals for the department and the corporation.

* Direct the process and communicate with the organization to provide timely identification and disposition of all irregular inventory, inactive greige inventory and excess longfold inventory in the Cleveland facility.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads a team of individuals to maintain and provide short and long-term production schedules which maximize efficiency, fill rates and on time delivery for the Cleveland facility.

* Maintain staff by selecting, orienting and training employees, including developing personal growth opportunities.

* Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations and accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; counseling and disciplining employees.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor s Degree with 2-3 years of experience; in lieu of degree, 5-10 years of Operations Planning & Scheduling experience;

* Familiarity with standard planning concepts, practices and procedures;

* Proficient in MS Office, Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, etc.), and Outlook;

* Team skills are a significant part of the working environment in this highly analytical position.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Consistent daily attendance required; occasional off-shift support required. Requires travel to multiple work sites.
