If so, we invite you to join our team at Amedisys, one of the largest and most trusted home health and hospice companies in the U.S.Attractive pay52.00 to 56.00Why Amedisys?Community-based care centers with a supportive and inclusive work environment.Better work/life balance and increased flexibility compared to other settings.Job stability and the opportunity to advance with a growing company.The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families providing much needed care where they want to be - in their homes.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsCurrent, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to that state you are assigned to work.Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) * with completed graduate course work and a clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).Current CPR certification.PreferredOne (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.*Note: If the SLP - CCC certification has not been obtained the candidate must be put into the SLP Clinical Fellow (100910) job.
