Pay Information $1,876 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years; 1st timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: General skills and work setting requirements include the following diagnoses: ARDS Sepsis Stroke STEMI DKA Post-op complications Cardiogenic shock GIB COPD exacerbation Encephalopathy Liver failure Drug overdose ESRD on CRRT Description: The candidate will work with an adult to geriatric patient population. Block scheduling is not guaranteed. Travel pairs are not accepted regardless of other unit assignments. The nurse will care for a patient ratio of 1:2-3 and should be prepared for the possibility of taking a 3rd patient. The unit has 24 rooms with an average daily census of 19. Floating within the facility is required. Work on major holidays may be required based on the assignment period. If two major holidays occur during the assignment period, the candidate is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, the candidate is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance is required to start on time. The candidate will undergo a clinical review to determine fit and must be ready to provide references. Candidates must have the ability to complete core items and schedule labs promptly after signing the contract.
