qualified PCU RN in Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281! Pay Information
$1,876 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license in the
state of practice Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSS required
Must-Have: 1. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in critical
care or similar settings. 2. Experience managing and titrating
drips including amiodarone, Cardizem, and insulin. 3. Ability to
manage various patient diagnoses such as respiratory failure, DKA,
and sepsis. 4. Proficient in using equipment like bedside cardiac
monitors and art lines. Description: Manage adult to geriatric
patients requiring close observation. Patient diagnoses include,
but are not limited to, COVID-19, respiratory failure, renal
failure, and stroke. Perform rapid sequence intubation and manage
patients on sedation and endotracheal tubes. Work with low-dose
pressors if overflow patients are present. Facilitate bedside
dialysis in collaboration with dialysis nurses. Utilize patient
management systems for charting and medication administration.
Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 in a 16-bed unit with an
average daily census of 16. Participate in floating to other units
as needed based on experience. Availability to work major holidays
with minimal time off requests. Compliance with all required
standards and regulations is essential for timely start. Candidates
should be ready to submit necessary documentation promptly.
