Job Description:

UNIT DETAILS: Transplant, Cancer, Primary Stroke center, Womens services and Cardiovascular servicelines including but not limited to Coronary CTA, Valve studies - aortic, mitral and tricuspid, Cardiac morphology studies. ED is non-trauma but pateint acuity is high scanning primarily head, neck chest abdomen pelvis, PE and extremity. Inpatient has some speciality studies geared toward transplant and neuro. SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY/VARIABLE DAY OFF WEEKEND: None CALL: None FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice as needed MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelers PRESCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. RTO: MAX 7 days HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule Locals accepted - same rate
