Pay Information $2,182 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: Must have relevant certifications Must-Have: Must be available to work holidays as required Description: General medical-surgical unit that primarily cares for a geriatric population. The patient diagnoses vary from day to day. Every other weekend shift is required. No call duty is involved. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary. Full compliance is required to start on time; delays may lead to a push back of two weeks due to orientation scheduling. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is required to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler may be expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Candidates must be able to submit core items and complete necessary labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside the previous facility before rebooking.
