Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: GA or compact license required Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Strong endovascular experience Preferred experience in Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotics Description: Candidates will float to General Operating Room if needed. Call is required, with 48-60 hours every four-week period. Weekend call is required. Staff can choose to sign up for calls on their day off or on the day they work. Rarely is anyone kept on call for the entire 12-hour shift. If it is deemed necessary to keep someone on call due to staff shortages, discussions will be held to offer early release to rest. Two on-call rooms are available for staff when on call. All cardiovascular and vascular procedures will involve levels 3 and 4. Experience in endovascular procedures is strongly preferred. Candidates should possess a valid nursing license.
