About The Position A clinic in Missouri is seeking a skilled Nephrologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting 07/14/2025. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nephrology care in both clinic and hospital settings, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 24-hour call when in the hospital. This role involves alternating two-week rotations between clinic and hospital work, focusing on dialysis, evaluations, and rounds. The position requires expertise in managing a diverse range of nephrology cases and the ability to adapt to different healthcare environments. Proficiency with Echo electronic health record system is required. Job Details: Location: Missouri Facility Type: Clinic and Hospital Start Date: 07/14/2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Nephrologist Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (24-hour call when in hospital) Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide comprehensive nephrology care in both clinic and hospital settings • Manage dialysis treatments and patient care • Conduct patient evaluations and consultations • Perform hospital rounds during inpatient rotations • Utilize Echo electronic health record system for documentation • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams • Adhere to all clinic and hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current nephrology practices and treatments Additional Information: • Must be licensed to practice in Missouri • Experience with Echo electronic health record system required • Comfortable with alternating between clinic and hospital settings every two weeks • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience in managing complex nephrology cases preferred • 24-hour call required during hospital rotations Apply now to learn more!
