Coverage: Pediatrics Weekend pediatric call coverage beginning in August. Call coverage for OB and ER at least 3 weekends per month (Friday 6p Monday 6a). The hours could likely be shifted if needed Will you accept multiple providers?Yes Reason for coverage: Ped leaving call staff Schedule/hours Fri 6p - Mon 6am Call schedule (i.e. 1:3 weekday and 1:3 weekend):Sole provider covering weekends Call back % Avg 1 newborn delivery/day; ER call appr 1/weekend Patient per day per physician- Max 5, usually EMR/Documentation-Medhost Support staff (Other MDs, NP/PA, RN etc) -ER and OB physicians, staff RNs Willing to consider non-licensed or IMLC providers -Neonate APP Board certification required or preferred?-Yes Certifications required (ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS) PALS, NRP What is the average patient census per doctor per day-5 Procedures: Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)-Yes Ventilation Management (Newborn)-Yes Acute-Yes but will transfer following intubation Chronic-No Ventilation Management (Pediatric)-No Acute-No Chronic-No Intubation (ETT/NT)-Yes Newborn-yes for rescue and transport Pediatrics-yes for rescue and transport; Most prevalent is ER physician to intubate and transfer Conscious sedation-No Deep sedation-No Central line-No Arterial lines-No UVC-Yes UAC-Yes Lumbar puncture-No Paracentesis-No Thoracentesis-No Chest tube insertion-No needle pneumothorax-No Decompression-No X-ray interpretation-No EKG interpretation-Yes Exchange transfusion-Yes Suturing minor lacerations-Yes, ER would more likely handle Circumcision (type)-No
