Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on 4east medical-surgical unit in main hospital building • 30-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratios • Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule • Fall into holiday rotation as part of scheduling requirements • Float to other units as part of rotation policy • Must maintain 72% patient experience scores utilizing communication boards • Work with equipment including walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and various medical devices • Use Meditech documentation system • Support staff includes clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case management • Must have teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills • Medical-surgical experience required including respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, heparin drips • BLS certification required • Required to wear navy blue scrubs uniform • Follow general hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing full-service medical care to the community.
