An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care to contribute to a high-acuity Level IV NICU setting. This contract position offers a unique chance to apply advanced neonatal nursing skills in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on medically complex newborns requiring surgical and critical care. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license with at least 2 years of NICU clinical experience Experience in Level IV and surgical NICU care is essential Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Ability and willingness to float to various departments including cross-campus assignments Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates with complex diagnoses, such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, tracheoesophageal fistula/esophageal atresia, abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and pulmonary hypertension Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for perioperative and postoperative care Adhere to stringent infection control policies, including mandatory nicotine-free compliance and influenza vaccination Support flexible holiday scheduling, including coverage around Christmas Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts, every other week required Location:This position is based in Marietta, GA, a vibrant city offering a rich blend of southern charm and metropolitan amenities.
