Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Oak Ridge, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,241 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: TN/compact licensure required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EKG testing proficiency - Telemetry monitoring experience - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath management - Central line care and management - Blood product administration Description: The registered nurse will provide care in a med-surgical and telemetry setting. Candidates must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required for this position. Weekend availability is required. The nurse will utilize a primary nursing model. Nurse-patient ratios will vary based on unit needs. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. The nurse will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care. Candidates should be comfortable managing various medical procedures and equipment. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census on the unit is approximately 33 patients. Candidates with travel experience will be prioritized. Submittals will only be accepted if all certifications and licensure are current and valid. All policies regarding time off must be followed. This position may involve assisting with various patient diagnoses and special procedures. The nurse's role will include collaboration with multiple support teams. All candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality patient care. This role is essential for delivering comprehensive medical care.
