Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare facility
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and experienced
ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) Lead Specialist Nurse to
join our dynamic team. In this critical role, the ECMO Lead
Specialist Nurse will oversee the ECMO program, coordinate patient
care, and ensure the highest standards of safety and effectiveness
in the administration of ECMO therapy. The ideal candidate will
have profound expertise in critical care and a strong leadership
background. This individual will play a key role in managing the
ECMO specialist team, conducting training sessions, and
collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive
healthcare services. Manage and oversee the ECMO program at TriStar
Centennial Medical Center. Coordinate the setup and operation of
ECMO equipment according to established guidelines. Lead, train,
and supervise a team of ECMO specialists and nursing staff.
Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare
professionals to ensure effective patient treatment plans.
Participate in clinical rounds, contribute to diagnoses, and play
an integral role in critical decision-making. Ensure adherence to
all hospital policies, standards, and procedures. Develop and
implement protocols for patient care and equipment maintenance.
Provide direct care and support to patients if necessary, focusing
on safety and quality. Proven expertise in managing ECMO systems
and critical care environments. Strong leadership skills and the
ability to mentor and develop staff. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for effective multidisciplinary collaboration.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Technical
proficiency in operating and maintaining ECMO machines and related
equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Tennessee or eligible. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS). Specialized training or certification in ECMO
preferred.
