Job Title: RN Clinical Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Experience: 2 years PICU experience required License: RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN Multi-state Compact Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support, PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Must-Have: - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies - Excellent time management skills - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Description: The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. They ensure that patients and families receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. The practice environment is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders. The care provided is supported through a professional practice model and evidence-based practice. RN competencies are derived from this model and supported by core values. All RN Clinical Nurses are licensed and knowledgeable. They uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Professional Nurse Practice Act.
