Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,215 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Knoxville, Tennessee, 37923! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS-AHA Certification, NIHSS Certification (ACLS preferred) Must-Have: EKG testing passed before start date Description: Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date. Auto offer with bi-weekly orientation. Weekend requirement is every other weekend or 2 weekends per month. Travelers requesting time off during any holiday or holiday week will not be accommodated. This policy applies to major holidays. Patient ratio is 1:7-8, with a team nursing model used for ratios greater than 8. Float requirements may apply. No on-call shifts are required. Mandatory certifications include BLS, NIHSS, and preferred ACLS. Experience in cardiac telemetry is required. Skills needed include management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drip management (no titration). Additional duties may include post-cardiac angiogram and peripheral line care. Daily census is approximately 30 patients. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Patients may be diagnosed with cardiac conditions like CHF, AFib, and arrhythmias. Staffing for weekends includes a patient ratio of 6-8. Floating policies comply with current standards, and adequate orientation is provided.
