NIHSS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong telemetry and cardiac
experience. Experience with interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias. Knowledge of cardiac drips and protocols.
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in telemetry nursing. The nurse will work in a cardiac specialty
unit. The unit typically manages a daily census of approximately 30
patients. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The
nurse will be responsible for managing patients post-cardiac
procedures including catheterizations. Critical thinking skills and
the ability to handle high-stress situations are essential. The
patient-to-nurse ratio is generally 1:7-8, utilizing a team nursing
model as needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend
or two weekends per month. Travelers should expect to float to
other areas within the hospital as needed. Candidates must have
active certifications and must be compliant with documentation.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required but flu vaccination is
mandatory with exemptions considered. Requirements Required for
