Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - 1 year of EPIC
experience - Floating to other units is required - Weekend coverage
and call are required - No first-time travelers Description: The
Registered Nurse will provide quality nursing care in the Labor and
Delivery specialty. Responsibilities include triage assessments,
inductions, cesareans, external versions, and NSTs. The RN will
also perform circumcisions and newborn resuscitation/stabilization
as needed. Administration of magnesium sulfate therapy is part of
the required skill set. Candidates must have experience in managing
high-risk deliveries and be familiar with various patient
diagnoses. Essential skills include the ability to perform sterile
vaginal exams and utilize external fetal monitoring. Knowledge of
maternal and fetal conditions such as pre-eclampsia, RH
incompatibilities, and multiple gestations is necessary. The role
requires effective communication and support for parents regarding
discharge teaching and infant care. Candidates must also
demonstrate proficiency in advanced nursing techniques such as IV
therapy and telemetry interpretation. The RN will be part of an
interdisciplinary team and provide support for various patient age
groups. The ability to float to other units based on census needs
