Ability to maintain central lines - Experience with anticoagulation
therapy and antihypertensives - Capability to assist with high-risk
deliveries - Competent in circulating for C-sections and recovering
C-sections Description: This position requires a registered nurse
specializing in labor and delivery. The nurse will care for
laboring women, mothers, and newborns. Diagnoses treated include
labor and delivery, GYN surgery, and breast surgery. Every other
weekend coverage is required. Floating within the facility and
scope of practice may be necessary. No on-call duty is expected.
The clinical fit of the candidate will be assessed prior to hiring.
If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the
traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays
occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to
work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New
Year's Day. Full compliance with requirements is necessary for an
on-time start. Travelers are expected to maintain two supervisory
references. Candidates must be away from the specified facilities
for one full year prior to returning as a traveler. The number of
non-billable orientation hours will vary based on contract length.
Completion of necessary pre-application tasks within 48 hours is
important for timely onboarding. Requirements Required for
