registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN

qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized care as
a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a
comprehensive acute and skilled care hospital located in Estill
Springs, TN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work
in a well-established medical facility equipped with advanced
technology, supportive staff, and a collaborative environment
dedicated to high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU,
monitoring vital signs and administering treatments. Collaborate
closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary
teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Operate
and troubleshoot specialized neonatal medical equipment. Provide
compassionate support and education to families during their
infants hospitalization. Adhere to hospital protocols, safety
standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Desired
Experience: Valid RN license with current registration. Experience
in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NICU) highly preferred.
Required certifications must be completed prior to start;
additional certifications may be requested. Strong clinical
assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to
work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity settings. Candidates
must reside 60 miles or more from the hospital to qualify as
travelers. Location Insight:Nestled in beautiful Southern
Tennessee, the hospital is part of a network serving Winchester and
the nearby campus town of Sewanee. The area offers a welcoming
community atmosphere with access to medical innovation including a
10-bed ICU, cardiac and surgical suites, and specialized diagnostic
services such as MRI and PET/CT. Residents enjoy a blend of

proximity. Position Details: Contract assignment with weekly Monday
orientations. Local pay rate offered for eligible candidates.
