Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,215 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS - AHA NIHSS ACLS - Preferred Must-Have: Ability to pass EKG testing before the start date. Previous charge experience preferred. Telemetry experience required. Description: Responsible for providing nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. Must be able to manage a patient ratio of 1:7-8. Experience in charting systems, preferably Cerner. Travelers may be required to float within the facility and to other facilities as needed. May be assigned various patient diagnoses including orthopedic injuries and post-operative bariatric surgeries. Requires skills in phlebotomy, IV management, oxygen administration, and wound care. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Compliance with infection control policies and use of personal protective equipment is expected. Must manage and interpret telemetry readings effectively. Demonstrated knowledge of blood product administration and peripheral line management is necessary. Candidates should be prepared for close patient monitoring and care delivery. All certifications and licensure must be current and not expire within 45 days of the start date.
