Medical Technologist Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,103 to $1,303 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical, or Biological science from an accredited institution preferred. Associate degree acceptable where client allows. Valid ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, TN State Licensure, or equivalent certification required. TN State license preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist in a hospital laboratory setting. Experience in chemistry, hematology, and blood bank preferred. Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred. BLS certification required. Must be able to perform diagnostic testing, follow standardized procedures, and analyze results for accuracy and critical limits. Ability to float to other laboratory locations as needed. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Nights. Shift Details: Nights 1800-0630. Shift Pattern: 3x12s with alternating weekends. On-call: No call requirement. Scheduling: No 48-hour option. No block scheduling. Scrub Color: Gray. EMR: Cerner.
