Job Description:

Medical Facility is seeking an experienced Rheumatology Physician for a locum tenens assignment at outpatient specialty centers in the Atlanta, GA area.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: August 31, 2026
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient only (no inpatient or call requirements)
• Patient Volume: 15 patients per day
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
• Locations: Ability to float between two facilities required

• Diagnose and treat a range of rheumatologic conditions in an outpatient setting
• Perform procedures such as:
  • Arthrocentesis and joint/soft tissue injections
  • Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
• Manage patients requiring IV therapies and vascular access familiarity
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using the Epic EMR system

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology (Internal Medicine)
• Active Georgia medical license (required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical experience in rheumatology

• No hospital privileges, admissions, or supervision required
• Malpractice insurance provided by vendor
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 21 days
