Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Summary and Attributes : The
Indoor Venue Team Member is responsible for ensuring the safety,
cleanliness, and functionality of all indoor spaces within the
Champions Center. This role supports daily operations by preparing
the facility for events, maintaining equipment, performing routine
maintenance and cleaning, and providing excellent service to
guests, athletes, and staff members. Duties and Responsibilities: •
Assist in the set up and break down of equipment for all events,
practices, and games (e.g., nets, goals, chairs, tables). • Perform
daily cleaning of the court space, grounds around the building,
meeting rooms, and other indoor spaces. • Conduct regular
inspections to identify safety hazards or equipment issues. • Able
to work as a team with other staff members. • Making sure policies
and procedures are implemented with staff. • Be able to assist with
minor repairs of lighting, HVAC, or other related facility systems.
• Respond to facility related issues during events or operating
hours in a timely and professional manner. • Follow, practice, and
enforce all safety and regulatory standards in the file. • Be able
to work cooperatively and lead in a group setting and by oneself
with limited supervision to complete the assigned task(s). • Assist
other departments when needed. • Follow verbal and written
instructions from superiors and ensure the timely and quality
completion of those assigned tasks. Qualifications: • Must be able
to work weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed. • Must
have a valid Georgia Driver’s License. • Must be able to follow all
policies and procedures. • Excellent multitasking and
organizational skills. • Ability to lift items up to 20 lbs., stand
for extended periods, and perform physical tasks. • Strong
attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. •
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Work
Environment: • This role takes place in a dynamic indoor sports
facility that hosts a variety of activities such as basketball,
volleyball, indoor soccer, and other special events. The
environment can be fast-paced, especially during peak times or
major events. Expect interactions with guests of all ages,
athletes, parents, and other staff. • Teamwork, adaptability, and a
positive attitude are key to excelling in this environment
