Aramark is seeking a dedicated Student Barista for our KB Haslam location inside a bustling educational institution. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality coffee and customer service. This position is designed for students seeking an entry-level opportunity in hospitality while supporting their academic pursuits. Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages that meet quality standards Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Manage inventory and supplies for beverage preparation Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately Provide superior customer service, including handling customer inquiries and complaints effectively Participate in training and strive to increase personal skill level in beverage preparation Ensure the coffee station is clean, organized, and well-maintained Knowledge of various coffee preparation techniques (e.g., espresso, latte, cappuccino) Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic math skills for handling cash and making change Time management abilities Food Handler's Certificate (or must be obtained within one month of hire) Barista training or relevant workshops are a plus but not required Aramark-approved training will be provided upon hiring
