Job Description Job Description Need to know how to do Breast Biopsy. Day Shift: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm| On Call Requirements: No Holiday requirements: No Weekend requirements: No Minimum 1 year experience as a Rad Tech Required and Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography. Preferred Primary Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Operate mammography equipment, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis , following manufacturer and regulatory guidelines. Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA) to minimize patient exposure. Review images for technical quality and completeness prior to submission for radiologist interpretation. Patient Care & Communication Explain procedures clearly to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation. Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times. Obtain relevant patient history , including prior breast surgeries, implants, or symptoms. Monitor patients for discomfort or adverse reactions during procedures.
