Job Description PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION The primary purpose of the
Linen Distribution Lead position is to ensure daily
responsibilities are completed in a safe, timely, and efficient
manner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Take direction from the On-Site
Linen Distribution Manager (LDM) and complete duties and
expectations in a safe,timely, and efficient manner. This can
include, but is not limited to: Observing, recording, and reporting
of activities and events throughout theshift; Working the assigned
schedule without delay, tardiness, orabsenteeism; Taking attendance
and reporting any variances to theLDM; Completing assigned job
duties including delivering of clean linenin a neat and orderly
fashion, collection and transportation of soiled
linen,accuraterecordinginventoriesand quantities of linen, and
organizing and cleaning the linen storage areasin accordance
withCrown policies and procedures and specific instruction from
theLDM; Receiving customer calls for service, recording the nature
of the call, and satisfying the requests of the call ina timelyand
professional mannerin accordance withCrown policies and procedures
and specific instruction from theLDM; Observe, record, and report
to theLDMany instances of linen abuse and poorutilization. OTHER
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Any other duties as assigned
ordeemednecessary. Must be willing and able to work with both clean
and soiled linenin accordance withCrown policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication skills Customer-first
attitude Exceptionalproblem-solvingskills to resolve both customer
andemployee issues Comfortable in ateam-basedenvironment
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS The incumbent must consistently display a
positive company outlook and an energetic style. The lead linen
distribution technician must be able to train other, less
experienced employees on what's necessary to complete each task in
each location while fostering a "customer first" and "teamwork"
environment. DECISION MAKING ACCOUNTABILITY This position's
decision-making influence includes, but is not limited to:
Quantities andschedule of linento be delivered to the customer.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Mustbe able to pass a background
check and pre-employment drug screening. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK
ENVIRONMENT TheLinen Distribution Leadposition is an active and
physically demandingposition. The incumbent can expect to: Walk 3-5
miles per dayatthe healthcarefacility; Load/unload linen from
transportation devices by reaching, bending, andlifting; Push/pull
linen transportation devices that weighin excess of500pounds;
Encounter, and be expected to safely handle, soiled
healthcaretextiles; Spend30-45minutes per day in an office focusing
on data entry, documentation, and other
administrativeresponsibilities ; Beable to fulfill the job duties
of any other position on their shiftin the event ofabsenteeism by
other team members. First Shift
