Position Summary:

Responsible for the of maintenance to the Production Scheduling System to allow on-time order processing in the Regional/ Promotional distribution centers (DCs) and communicate changes to the appropriate division associates. Work with assigned Logistics managers and Supply Chain managers on regular scheduling changes, special order transmissions, diverting orders, and Holiday Transmissions. Work with appropriate Technology associates to accomplish above activities. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support Regional DC management in their creation of the order and delivery schedules for the 5 Regional DCs; this will include holiday calendars, new store openings, new/relocated pharmacies and changes driven by the needs of the business
  • Manage data entry of order and delivery schedules for the regional DCs for the retail divisions they support
  • Manage new store activation and special-order needs for regional DCs
  • Oversee the coordination and publishing of all holiday schedules with the regional DCs, and division Merchandising, Technology and Operations teams
  • Activation of new stores for the order capture and releasing system.
  • Maintain ability to be on call to support regional DCs when order production issues arise (24/7)
  • Maintain data base of production and delivery schedules for the regional DCs.
  • Manage the return label process and ensure stores receive the labels they need to process returns
  • Maintain flexibility to travel to off-site locations
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Highly detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills
