*Full Job Description*Harborview Health Systems is looking for an experienced Biller to join our dynamic team at Roselane Health Center by Harborview. Harborview Health Systems is comprised of 18 Skilled Nursing Facilities and 2 ALFs company wide and we are consistently looking for new team members to join our growing family.*Resident and A/R related duties:** Reviewing the resident payer sources to ensure the account is 100% accurate and eligibility is verified on Admission.* Each month, the biller will be responsible for Triple check of Medicare and Managed Care claims for accuracy. This Triple check review will be completed with the interdisciplinary team.* Produce and release claims for Medicare A/B, Managed Care A/B, Commercial, Supplemental and Medicaid payers.* Complete follow-up review of outstanding claims based on the AR Aging report. Work denials and correct claims as needed.* Educate and learn the facility Managed Care contracts as it is related to Level of Care, Authorization requirements, Payer Carve outs. Work with Third Party vendor on Authorizations and discrepancies/clarity of coverage.* Track denial trends and report to the VP of Revenue so education can be provided.* Assist Business Office Manager (as needed) on Business Office duties.* Maintain claim and Remit records. Post Adjustments as needed in PCC when co-insurance is due.* Bill co-insurance payers when the primary claim pays. Track co-insurance Aging accounts to ensure billing and collections are kept current.Requirements:*Administration:** Communicate with Administrator, Regional Director of AR, RDO, VP of Revenue and Home Office as needed to maintain communication and needs as it pertains to claims.* Ensure OSHA compliance completing required forms as applicable* Be a key player in AR Aging Review meetings to update facility and home office staff on claims status (monthly meeting).*Customer Service** Provide superior customer service when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and staff*Requirements:** AA Degree preferred in accounting or business, or equivalent experience, but not required.* Three years' experience working in Accounts Receivable (SNF billing is preferred)* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills* Demonstrated ability to use accounting software programs and Microsoft Office* Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines* Ability to analyze reports and identify issues that could affect day to day business operations* Excellent customer service skillsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* Administrative experience: 1 year (Required)* Medical Billiing: 3 years (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
