  • Due to our low birthrate we must accept medical surgical patients on the floor.
  • I need a nurse that has recent experience in those areas.
  • Patient Ratios: 1/5-6
    • Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
    • Years of Experience: 2+; Med Surg, postpartum, pediatrics in that order.
    • Float Requirements: to other Med Surg units
    • Must Have Skills/Experience: IV placement; NG tube placement; fundal checks
    • Preferred Skillset/Experience: Med Surg
    • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Bowel obstruction; hip fracture; Cholelithiasis; Appendicitis; Post Partum care
    • Personality Fit: Team Player
    • Required Education: BLS; PALS; NRP appreciated; ACLS
