As a fireplace installer, you are responsible for installing wood-burning and gas fireplaces in homes according to the manufacturer's installation instructions and company policies and guidelines. Your day-to-day may include, but not be limited to: Loading and logging materials onto truck Install new gas or wood-burning fireplaces in home Measure and install mantles and granite base as needed around fireplaces Repair and maintain existing fireplaces Maintain tools and truck housekeeping High School diploma or GED Maintain a valid drivers license Knowledge installing or repairing gas, wood-burning, or pellet fireplaces is a plus, but not required - WILL TRAIN Experience in finish Carpentry or residential construction is helpful, but not required National Fireplace Institute Certification will be provided after you have achieved enough experience Position requires a drug test and motor vehicle report to be completed, contingent upon employment.
