Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree
in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology
(ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Cardiovascular
Technologist (CVT) role specializing as a Cath Lab Tech with
Electrophysiology (EP) expertise is available in Marietta, GA. This
contract position demands hands-on experience with EP procedures
and device implants. Candidates must possess an RCIS certification
and demonstrate proficiency in EP studies, ablation procedures, and
a range of device implants including pacemakers and implantable
cardiac devices. Key Responsibilities: - Perform EP studies and
ablations for arrhythmias such as VT, SVT, AVNRT, WPW, A-flutter,
and A-Fib. - Assist with device implantations including pacemakers,
Micra, subcutaneous ICDs (SQ-ICD), implantable cardioverter
defibrillators (ICDs), and implantable loop recorders (ILRs). -
Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment with precision. -
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures. - Collaborate closely with cardiovascular
physicians and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Registered Cardiovascular
Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required. - Proven
experience in electrophysiology labs including EP studies and
ablation procedures. - Skilled in device implantations of
pacemakers, ICDs, and related cardiac devices. - Strong knowledge
of cardiovascular anatomy and electrophysiologic principles. -
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
