POSITION DESCRIPTION Do you get energized by sensors, data, and electronics that make complex machines smarter? As a Sr. Instrumentation Electronics Engineer at Centrus Energy, you’ll build the nervous system of our advanced centrifuge technologies—crafting clever circuits, integrating sensors, and designing data-acquisition and control solutions that keep America’s clean-energy future spinning. You’ll develop new instrumentation electronics, write LabVIEW-based tools that turn signals into insight, and help bridge R&D to production with designs that are reliable, scalable, and wildly effective. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of experience, or equivalent industrial instrumentation experience 1 years in manufacturing, R&D, and electronics development Experience with instrumentation, sensors, circuit development, and data-acquisition design Familiarity with simulation and modeling (e.g., Altium, PSPICE, LabVIEW, Simulink, OrCAD) 3 years of nuclear-industry experience Hands-on circuit design and implementation for production/manufacturing Deep LabVIEW data-acquisition experience Embedded software development and/or test experience An active “Q” lor “L” level security clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen Ability to work in a diverse work environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience with centriufuge manufacturing or uraniuam enrichment. LOCATION Oak Ridge – 100% onsite position.
